Meet The Team
Keith Roy (Personal Real Estate Corporation)
Team Leader and Listing Specialist
Keith Roy has been selling real estate in Vancouver for over 11 years. Born in Vancouver and raised around BC, he graduated from high school at Vancouver College, holds a BA in political science from the University of Guelph and a post graduate diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Sauder School of Business at UBC.
Keith is a frequent face in the media commenting on matters relating to the local and national real estate market, trends in real estate sales, the City of Vancouver’s building code, house building and new construction.
To further facilitate the discussion of Vancouver housing, Keith recently started the Vancouver UnReal Estate Show – a podcast featuring interviews of real estate thought leaders and policy makers on housing issues facing our city.
As a member of the Professional Conduct Committee at the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver from 2014 to 2016, Keith helped oversee and enforce Realtors business practices and behaviours and adherence to the the Canadian Real Estate Association REALTOR Code of Ethics.
Keith is a member of the Real Estate Board’s Master Medallion Club for being in the top 10% of Greater Vancouver Realtors for 9 years. He has also received multiple industry awards and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal (2002) and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012) both for community service.
He is also a sought after speaker and trainer in the real estate industry, helping other realtors build their business and serve their clients better.
Keith collects Monopoly boards and has recently built a home in East Vancouver where he lives with his soulmate, Stephanie.
Greg and Keith graduated from Vancouver College as best friends over 15 years ago. Greg has a Bachelors of Recreation Management from Acadia University and spent 5 years managing summer camps and childcare centres for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver and the YMCA. He has spent most of his adult life helping families.
A top notch and detailed professional, he took the mortgage broker course as well as obtained his real estate license so he could give better service to our clients.
Greg used to be on a cheerleading team, volunteer at community theatre and enjoy golfing. Now he has children, so he does that instead. Greg is married to Michelle and lives in Langley with their four children, Grace, Maggie and the twins, Vivienne and Georgia.
Deborah Stellingwerff is a Vancouver Realtor® with the Real Estate Council of British Columbia specializing in residential property, and is pleased to be partnering with Keith Roy and Associates. Deb is a great fit for our team because she is as passionate about designing a positive real estate experience for our clients as we are. She has called her real estate business ‘StellingtheCity’ – a play on her last name and the idea of selling the city and telling about the city, because it expresses the active interest and involvement she has in the beautiful city of Vancouver both as a resident and a Realtor®.
For Deb, living in Vancouver is a lifestyle choice; it is a city known for the opportunities it affords people to live an active, healthy lifestyle and for its vast array of culinary and entertainment options. When she is not StellingtheCity to help our clients fulfill their real estate goals, she enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants with her husband. When she is not eating, she enjoys being active in dance fitness classes as a Jazzercize instructor.
Realtor and Listing Coordinator
Taryn has worked on the team since 2010. She was born and raised in the lower mainland, splitting her childhood between Richmond and Vancouver’s west side. She studied art history at Langara College and in Europe before getting her real estate license and joining the team.
Taryn works with buyers to find their perfect home. She is attentive, kind, caring and genuinely interested in helping people through the stressful process of moving into a new home. She also works with sellers to make sure the property is staged, prepared, and fully exposed before listing it. Additionally, she meets with other Realtors to ensure potential buyers get access to the homes we have for sale.
Taryn is widely regarded as the “fun one” of the team. She lives in Kitsilano with her husband Steve and their lab, Riley.
Team Manager (unlicensed)
Anna brings a diverse background to the team, with operational and management experience in senior roles in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors over the last 13 years. Most recently, she was the Director of Operations in the Office of the President at UBC and Manager of the Office of the CEO at Mitacs. Previous to this, she was the Manager of Community Relations in the City of Vancouver Mayor’s Office.
She is excited to now be part of Vancouver’s real estate sector, and particularly passionate about ensuring our clients have a positive real estate experience. Anna thrives on getting things done and keeping our systems running smoothly. Her role as Team Manager is to manage operations and to keep us, and our clients, organized.
Anna was born and raised in Vancouver, where she continues to live with her new-ish husband, Chris.
Digital Marketing Manager (unlicensed)
The newest member of our team, Stephanie has been working in the real estate industry since 2010. Originally trained by Keith, Stephanie worked as a licensed agent for three years before switching gears to focus her attention on real estate administration and marketing.
Stephanie joined our team in 2017 to manage our team’s digital marketing strategy. She produces valuable written content for our clients, manages our website and social media feeds, creates videos, advertises our listings online and is even working on a virtual reality platform for viewing properties. For more information on our new unique marketing initiatives, that no other agent in the city is doing, check out the Keith Roy and Associates Marketing Plan.
Stephanie is also the editor and producer for The Vancouver UnReal Estate Show and writer for Richard Robbins International. In the rare moments she isn’t working Stephanie plays Dungeons and Dragons and occasionally performs improv and stand-up comedy.
Stephanie is the soulmate Keith refers to in his bio. She has a Star Wars tattoo. Keith has never seen Star Wars.
